Expected Results for the entire project:
A better understanding of the incentives and obstacles in the five countries (Austria, France, Ireland, Norway, and Romania) regarding the transition to meat-replacing products;
Generating knowledge about the values, actors, discourses, and arguments for and against the food transition towards meat-replacing products in each national context, but also at the European level;
Generating added value through transnational collaboration between the five countries and experts from various fields—such as marketing, geography, environmental science, agriculture, philosophy, psychology, law, anthropology, sociology, and nutrition—with the aim of harmonizing legislation, facilitating data sharing, and developing innovative concepts in the field of alternative foods.
